I'm a Civil Engineer who worked for a construction company building water and sewer plants in Pennsylvania after graduating from Lehigh University in 1977. After moving to Maryland, taking an early retirement offer from General Motors at age 32, working as a consultant, and starting a few not so successful businesses, I fell in love with a sweet girl with a great personality hailing from South Carolina. We decided Baltimore was too cold for us, so we headed south to Florida.

We moved from West Palm Beach to Woodbine in Riviera Beach before settling in Oak Harbour here in Juno Beach. Here's a pic from 4 years ago of my mom, Raven, and Trish.

My professional background includes working as a Project Engineer and Manager for a construction company, an Engineer and then a Powerhouse Supervisor for General Motors in Baltimore, Maryland, a Consultant for engineering firms managing water, sewer, and land development projects, and Seacoast Utility Authority's staff engineer for 18 years before my retirement in 2020.

President of the Via Jardin Sub-Association, and President of the Woodbine Master Homeowners Association in 2002.

I was born in a small town in South Carolina and as a child we moved around quite a

bit. My dad was born and raised on a farm in Minnesota and then went searching for a better life than farm work. He was the first in the family to graduate from college. He married young while in the service. Soon after he got a job as a sales engineer and was

transferred to several different locations. My sister and I lived together in Maryland when I met John, and eventually John and I married and moved to Florida.

I was always drawing as a young child, and I have taken art classes most of my life.

When I retired from my work as a Computer Aided Drafter, I decided to take an oil

painting class and learn face painting. I enjoy working with children and learning new

designs. One of my face painting friends said that I might like balloon twisting and I’m learning that now. I’m really enjoying it more than I expected. Love and peace.
